If You Can't Read the Label Without Googling It, It Doesn't Go in the Jar.
The Base
Grass-Fed Beef Tallow
Rendered from grass-fed suet in small batches in North Texas, wet and dry both. Its fatty acid profile closely mirrors human sebum, which is why it absorbs instead of sitting on top. It carries fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K2 naturally, from an animal raised on grass.

Raw and Unfiltered Texas Honey
Raw, unfiltered and never heated, from Texas apiaries. Honey is hygroscopic: it draws moisture out of the air and holds it against the skin. Pasteurizing kills the enzyme activity that makes it worth using, so ours goes from hive to jar without touching a heat source. The same honey you could put on toast.

Vitamin E Oil
Tocopherol, not a synthetic stabilizer. It earns its place twice: antioxidant protection for skin, and it keeps a fat-based formula from oxidizing before you finish the jar. That's why we don't need parabens or phenoxyethanol. Grass-fed tallow already contains some; adding it concentrates what's there.

Botanical Scent, When We Add It
Some jars have a scent added and some don't. When one does, you'll find it named here, with what it is and where it came from. It's there for the smell.
